Theoretically, twin flames are almost fully ascended.
Their divine mission is far more important to them than meeting each other secretly, while you are already engaged with someone else. Ascended twin flames don’t want to get trapped on Earth, they want to go home.
Twin flames relationship is not a physical connection. The strong attraction may let any twin flame desire to make love with the other. It may seem like an unconscious moment or a feeling of two souls hugging each other. However, if one of you is married, this can create karma that will keep them trapped in a cycle of reincarnation. True twin flames want to balance out any remaining karma so they can ascend fully and not have to continue to incarnate in the physical world. The last thing they need is more karma that will block their spiritual awakening.

If you cheat on your spouse with your twin, you are going to be subject to karma, like everyone else.
I understand the intensity of this strong sexual attraction for your Twin Flame. But, if you are both, or one of you is, in another relationship, and yet you have both been through this, you must be very careful whenever you are physically close to each other.
This intensity should encourage you to do the inner healing and growth that is necessary for you to move forward and work on your Twin Flame Mission. This Mission is to raise your vibrations and learn to have Unconditional Love. Unfortunately, in most cases, having sex with your twin, while one or both of you are in a relationship, can be against that mission and can actually be very detrimental to everyone involved.

Ideally, you should take the high road, while keeping space in your heart, and if possible, in your twin flame timeline so that you can always connect. At that moment, you can’t judge, if what you are doing is correct or incorrect, especially, when, you feel as if an energy portal is opening, you are in another dimension. To get back to the real world, and get your brain back in control, you need time.
Afterward, there may be regrets, or feeling that you are not faithful to your spouse, which will give more weight to the soul.
But nothing is irreparable. You can make the choice.
If it is not possible for your twin to be with you, send them enough love to move forward in life. Allow them to do their best to honor the relationship they are currently in.
Quite simply, let go so that you can move on as well. Continue on your way, walk boldly toward your highest self, and your twin will do the same.
