Yes, twins have to be lovers. Twins are meant to be lovers. Twins are designed to be lovers.
Because, first, the arguments that you convince yourself that twins don’t need to be lovers may come from fear and insecurity. Ask yourself, why don’t you want to be lovers with your twin? You would realize that the arguments don’t reveal true reasons. You broke a relationship to be with someone else before. So, you are currently in a relationship is not a true reason why you don’t want to be with your twin. You fly across the oceans to see someone before. So physical distance isn’t a true reason. You dated someone much older/younger than you before. So the age gap isn’t a true reason. You dated a foreigner before. So the language barrier isn’t a true reason. You may think that ‘I need to be a better version of myself to be with my twin flame.’ But, why do you need to be better to be with your twin? You were in a relationship/ dated people when you were not ‘a better version of yourself.’
You would realize that all these arguments are just excuses you make up to cover your fear, or your insecurity of losing your twin, or your fear of being rejected. These fears and insecurity are true reasons. Not those arguments that you make up to convince yourself that twins don’t need to be lovers.
