The Difference Between an Awakened Runner and an Unawakened Runner
Many people assume that the twin flame chaser is simply pursuing a traditional 3D relationship with the runner. However, in reality, the chaser is drawn to the runner’s energy and spiritual bond from the very beginning. Even if the chaser cannot fully comprehend what they want from their twin flame, they feel an intense attraction—something beyond logic, something unfamiliar yet undeniable. Once they cross this threshold, they are called by higher forces to release emotional attachment to their twin flame and surrender to their own spiritual path.
The Unawakened Runner’s Struggle
In contrast, the unawakened runner is still deeply entangled in the 3D realm and has not yet grasped the spiritual transformation taking place. Because they lack awareness of the divine connection, they may attempt to replace the chaser’s energy with other relationships, seeking external sources to fill the void left behind when the chaser withdraws their energy. However, this proves to be a futile effort. A divine connection cannot be substituted by an earthly one, and as the runner continues searching, the emptiness only grows deeper. Over time, this can lead to feelings of despair, emotional numbness, or even depression.
The only true remedy for the unawakened runner is to turn toward divine love. While twin flame love is intense, only divine love is greater. Without this surrender, the runner may feel as though they are falling into an abyss, unable to find fulfillment in any relationship, no matter how physically or emotionally satisfying it may seem.
When the Unawakened Runner Becomes the Chaser
Ironically, the unawakened runner may eventually find themselves becoming the chaser—despite their initial resistance to the connection. They may reject the idea of twin flames due to social conditioning or personal fears, which is why they initially ran. However, as they struggle against the divine plan, they will ultimately be forced to confront their own ego. This process mirrors what the chaser once endured before reaching awakening. Their surrender, though delayed, is inevitable.

Whether awakened or unawakened, both twins are bound by a connection that transcends human logic. Their reunion is not dictated by their own choices but by divine timing. After ascension, they no longer have control over whether they accept or reject one another—their souls are guided by forces beyond the physical realm.
