An empath is a person who has the ability to understand the emotional state of another individual. There are different types of Empaths and many levels of gifts and abilities. It is one thing to be an empath, another to be a Heyoka (masters of a form of resistance).
For Heyoka, there is little information available and yet it is the most powerful type of Empath. The Heyoka or “sacred clown” is an Amerindian term and is translated as “Mad or Clown”.
This translation does not do justice to the true meaning of the term. Saying, acting in a different way, upside down, in a different way, gives us a better understanding.
The spirit of a Heyoka is a formidable mirror. When you connect to a Heyoka, what you see in them will show you what you need to work to evolve spiritually. The mirror of the Heyoka is the mirror of emotion, and it will make you react in an emotional way and will teach you lots of things about you.
For example, after being with someone who can make you feel anger, the mirror of the Heyoka shows you the need to be humble. Or you can feel a lot of love, again the mirror shows you the way to self-esteem.
The following traits of a Heyoka Empath are defined by the energy you carry.
This is how you interact with reality, how you treat emotions.
Some traits may include: being dyslexic (thinking backward), being born violated (coming into the world upside down), doing things upside down, looking younger than her age. Heyoka is a movement and a transformation.
It’s something you can not pretend to be. A Heyoka recognizes another Heyoka when they feel that energy. There is a deep understanding of how our sensitivity and emotions interact with each other.
In Native American ceremonies, the Heyoka will be the one that will disrupt the process so that people see things differently or transfer energy from the situation. The modern Heyokas, when working with people, will say or do something to change the energy that creates change, healing and balancing energy.
The gift of a Heyoka is to rebalance people and unblock people by alternately showing the opposite message, the opposite way.
The Heyokas carry in them the medicine of chaos and this medicine has the power to change the lives of people.
This energy is solid, imminent and strong. It is the upheaval of love; In the hope of growth. This medicine aims to show us that the shadow remains invisible and that the mirror of truth is difficult to look at. It is difficult to make oneself humble in an ego world.
