What happens to a twin flame who awakens but is in a relationship with someone else?
The reason for this is that awakening is unrelated to our understanding of “perfect conventional romance”. If that were the case, everyone would be awake at a “perfect” age, just before they really offer time to different people and get through different relationships.
Awakening is related to the awareness of a soul. And each one of us has designed his own awakening himself, even before incarnating here in this lifetime.
The purpose of awakening is to be “aware” of certain truths, of love, and of your true existence as a soul. To trigger such an awakening, you must find yourself in difficult and challenging situations. If the situation in your life is favorable to what you want, there will be no awakening.
When we’re already in a relationship but feel intense love for someone else, that’s when we really start looking for the answers to the questions that constantly pop up in our minds. We go through deep emotional turmoil, and feel the deepest pain, sadness, fear, rejection, abandonment, guilt, and doubt… we have to deal with all these issues within us… and then ONLY true awakening occurs. The new version of you will show up!
It is difficult to manage this phase of awakening while being in normal life and being in a relationship with a karmic partner. There are a lot of difficulties.
Some decide to leave their relationship and others prefer to keep it. However, this is absolutely a personal decision.
